FD Handbook
Study Day Topics
Study day programme notes should refer to the curriculum. Each Study day, ideally and if appropriate, might to be followed up by a tutorial which can deepen the learning gained by further discussion and questioning. For clinical subjects teaching should be followed up with a formal assessment on the subject either by ADEPT or CBD. For each subject area a cycle of teaching, discussion/learning followed by assessment is the aim.
The following is a guide to the core topics that would usually be included in the study day programme with suggestions as to how they may be delivered, time taken and most appropriate time of year.
